About Us

HearCare Connection was started in 2011 as a nonprofit local audiology center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our work with the deaf and hearing impaired in our community showed us the exponential need for hearing healthcare support for individuals who were uninsured or under-insured for hearing healthcare. Our clinic has seen explosive growth in our efforts to provide hearing aids and follow up hearing healthcare at reduced cost and on a sliding fee scale. 

We started to wonder about the thousands of other communities around the U.S. who didn't have a local nonprofit clinic.  We wanted to know if we could transfer some of the principles of how we provide care ( in partnership with local audiologists ) to bring something sustainable to other cities. The Give Hear project was born in 2016 with our first partner, Hearing Health Clinic in Minnesota.  

We know what a difference this program has made to our friends and neighbors in Fort Wayne, IN. We're excited to see the growth of hearing healthcare around the nation and it's our desire to see more and more people everyday receive the Gift of Hearing. Won't you join your hands with ours and help create a partnership that's reconnecting People to People and People to Community?  Give Hear!
